Last week ANXO quietly opened the front doors at its 711 Kennedy Street location. Last summer ANXO had to close its flagship location in Truxton Circle and said that they were planning on expanding their location on Kennedy Street. Phase 1 is finally complete with the new “bottle shop” in the front part of their property opening. Between their cider, wine, spirits and pizza, ANXO is upping their game on Kennedy.

For the past month and a half, the Ward 4 Redistricting Task Force has been working to remap the boundaries of Advisory Neighborhood Commissions (ANCs) and the Single Member Districts (SMDs) they contain in Ward 4. According to the 2020 Census, over 8,000 people have moved into Ward 4 , so the SMD boundaries must be redrawn to comply with the 2,000 people per SMD requirement. They really want your input.
